Airline Overview
Flybe is one of Europe's largest regional airlines. Its roots extend back to 1979 as Jersey European Airways. In 2000, the airline changed its name to British European and the name evolved to Flybe in 2002. It is based in Exeter, England and operates more UK domestic flights than any other airline. It also serves over 60 destinations in Europe.
Flybe's fleet includes modern and technologically advanced aircraft. Embraer E175 and E195 jet aircraft are used on major haul routes. Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 turboprop aircraft are used on all other flights.
