This was by far the LOUDEST flight I've ever taken in my life. Could have been my seat location by the wing, but I've flown regional jets in the US previous and never recall experience such a loud droning noise the entire flight. I could barely hear myself thing and my ears were ringing it was so loud. Highly suggest ear plugs for those thinking of flying this aircraft.

I was asked to move from 3D to the row in front. 2D has good leg room, although no storage in front and the coat hooks can't be used during takeoff and landing. 2D however has less room due to the emergency exit door.

Excellent seat, which actually had 1 full window and almost all of another. The window looked out onto the propellers, and the landing gear.

The window is slightly behind the seat making it uncomfortable to look out.

I always enjoy sitting near the front of this aircraft as the level of noise from the turboprop engines is much lower than that experienced in the middle/rear. Makes for a quick exit too on arrival and you have the room under the seat in front that Row 1 lacks.

This is the prop row, and best avoided unless you have good noise cancelling headphones

I use FlyBe quite a lot for internal UK flights. The further forward you are, the quieter the aircraft. There is a marked difference in engine noise between row 1 and (say) row 11; I can't comment about the rear of the aircraft as I've never sat there. The ANVS system works really well - I've flown on -300s in the USA and the difference in noise levels is incredible. The Q400 is much, much quieter.

Ive flown many times on these aircraft,it does exactly what it says on the tin, it is a good aircraft it gets you to where your going, its quite comfortable,and the crew do a great job in looking after you on the flight,Im quite happy to use these when ever im flying on internal UK flights.

Great seat with good views of the wheel on landing although is quite loud. It is also worth considering the person in front might want to look out of your front window as they dont have one

Sat in seat 3D, it had brilliant leg room, definately at least 30". I am 5ft 8" or 172 cm and I could stretch out comfortably. Yes the seat is only 17" wide and being a little bit chubby its snug to say the least. The seat did not exactly feel secure, every time I lent back the seat felt like it was going to fall apart, bend backwards into the person behind.

Great flight, adequate legroom for a 90 min flight, no recline but comfortable enough.
