Beware the pitch is extremely tight and the seats very narrow on this A300-600, making this aircraft rather uncomfortable.

I flew this aircraft on 13/4/2014 from Gatwick to Birmingham, which was the last ever flight of the type in European service. The flight was an hour long, however even after the short amount of time I spent in my seat, I still found it very uncomfortable. I am around 6 foot tall and I was unable to fold down the tray table due to my legs obstructing the arms of the table as they folded down. I feel sorry for the person in front of me as I was forced to push my legs into the back of there chair for the whole flight. When we de-planed once the flight was finished I found it hard to walk with pins and needles in my feet and legs. I don't know how people could fly on one for a 7 hour trans-Atlantic flight. However, all this in consideration, she is a wonderful aircraft to fly on. It was a great experience and maybe for the best, one the won't be experienced any more.

After a 7 hour delay at Tenerife Airport due to a technical fault with the A300 that we were due to fly on, we boarded another that was sent. The plane was clean but as other reviews state, the seat are VERY narrow even for a slim person such as myself. I am 6 foot 5 so I booked an exit row which was great for the legroom and well worth it especially for being able to walk around the cabin and use the toilet without having to make others get up. It would have been a miserable 4.5 hours if I would have been in one of the very tight standard seats. The flight itself was smooth and the cabin crew were fairly friendly.

Our seats in row 14 were excellent for this Airbus 300 by Monarch, Manchester to Malaga. Good leg space and width, though we are not particularly tall or wide people! Good comfort and service considering it's a budget carrier. Good landing. Would definitely fly Monarch again.

We had seats 2H and 2J. Whilst the legroom was fine the width of these seats is truly appalling and not uniform, 2H being even narrower than 2J. The most uncomfortable we have ever been on a flight. Additionally these seats have pitifully lacking fold out trays. I arrived having experienced pins and needles in my feet and feeling as if my hamstring may pop. Awful! Avoid! I don't normally post comments but on the 2 previous occasions I have made contact directly with Monarch regarding other issues I have not been happy with their response so I thought I may share this issue with everyone. Monarch is the only airline I have ever felt strongly enough to complain to about anything.

The most uncomfortable flight I have had in 50 years. All seats were so narrow even a person of average build had difficulty in sitting down. Never again on this Airbus 300 with Monarch. AVOID
